How We Started

Fur Baby Care MN was built from a lifelong love of animals and a deep commitment to community.

From the time Angela was just six years old, volunteering four days a week at local animal organizations, animals were never “just pets” — they were family. Over the years, that passion expanded into shelter work, wildlife rehabilitation support, rescue involvement, and more than two decades of hands-on animal experience.

What began as helping friends and family care for their pets slowly grew into something much bigger. Families across the Iron Range kept asking for help, not just pet sitting, but trustworthy, knowledgeable, compassionate care.

Angela saw a need.

Many pet parents wanted:

Instead of sending pets to high-volume kennels or impersonal facilities, families wanted comfort, safety, and consistency.
